What you need to know

We appreciate your interest in joining our team.

Applicants may search for vacant positions and apply online through any computer that has internet capability. Our Human Resources Department has a computer available to the public from 8AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday.
MCHS is a tobacco-free work environment. This means that parking lots, hospital grounds, and all vehicles on hospital property are off-limits for tobacco use.

A drug screen is administered as a part of the pre-employment screening after the job offer. A positive drug screen will result in the job offer being withdrawn.

Education, licensures, experience and social security numbers/work authorization are verified. Federal law requires we verify the identity and determine eligibility of all applicants hired to work. The I-9 Form is used for verification of all persons hired to work in the United States through E-Verify. For more information on E-Verify, please contact DHS at 1.888.464.4218 or dhs.gov/E-Verify. Sanction checks will be completed which allow us to check for any person who are excluded from any federally funded healthcare program, such as Medicare or Medicaid.
MCHS employees is mandated by CMS to get the COVID vaccine or request an exemption. Please speak with HR for more information.

They are posted until filled.

When can I expect a call about my application?
Managers review the applications, narrow to the top candidates and contact as their schedules allow.

What is the starting salary?
H.R. can quote a base rate; however, the exact amount will be quoted when the job is offered. The offer will occur after the interview and a full evaluation of experience and education is made.

Do you hire new grads?
Yes, we do! We are happy to hire new grads and we provide an orientation to assist them become part of our team.

What is Full-time Employment?
Any employee scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more.

What is Part-time Employment?
Any employee scheduled to work less than 30 hours per week.

What does PRN mean?
Pro Re Nata (latin phrase) which means "as needed." These employees are not scheduled but work as needed.

What is a PCA?
PCA is a Patient Care Aide working on the medical/surgical department assisting nurses with patient care.

What is an EVS Aide?
EVS Aids stands for Environmental Services Aide. This is an employee who is assigned to clean patient rooms and support areas by maintaining. the area in a detailed fashion disinfecting the general environment
