Dr. Sifford received his medical degree in 2000 from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine, Little Rock, AR.

Dr. Sifford completed his internship in 2001 in internal medicine at the University of Kentucky Medical Center Program.

Dr. Sifford did an internal medicine residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center Program in 2003 and 2004.

Dr. Sifford completed his fellowship in specialty gastroenterology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 2007.
